In this six part series we’re giving America the inside track on the couple and their Big Day - from the fledgling royal romance at St Andrews, to the design of the dress and the guest list no nuptial detail will go unchecked. To help us celebrate this decade defining event we have some the biggest names in the world of Royal Watching onboard – fashion designer Ben De Lisi, Elizabeth Emmanel designer of Diana’s wedding dress, former Sunday Times Editor Andrew Neil, Ingrid Seward editor of Majesty magazine, Ken Wharfe Royal Protection officer to Diana and Dickie Arbiter, former press spokesman to the Queen.

In November 2009, Channel 4 broadcast a special season of 3D programming. Its centrepiece was The Queen in 3D, two one hour documentaries telling the story of innovative young film-makers, Bob Angell and Arthur Wooster, who in 1953 filmed a stunning 3D colour newsreel 'Royal Review'. Their spectacular footage – all included in The Queen in 3D - includes the Queen attending Royal engagements in the weeks leading up to and after the Coronation. And now, fifty six years later, Bob and Arthur come out of retirement and get behind the camera one more time to capture 3D footage of the Queen today carrying out her Royal duties around Britain.
